kishi

Kishi: chess, shogi and Go in your browser

Play chess, shogi or Go against engines written in Rust and compiled to WebAssembly. The engines think in Web Workers on your own device, with no server and no account, and the app works offline once installed.

Choose one of eight levels, from Novice to Maximum, then take back moves, step through the history, and copy the game record.

Kishi plays chess, shogi and Go with engines written in Rust and compiled to WebAssembly. It thinks on this device, in Web Workers, and works offline. Its evaluation network is learning by self-play; until it beats the hand-written evaluation, Kishi plays with that.

Chess pieces: Chessnut by Alexis Luengas (Apache 2.0). Shogi pieces and Go stones are drawn by Kishi; the kanji are Noto Sans JP (OFL). Type: Geist (OFL). Source on GitHub · by Raffael Schneider
